Fastballs

Watch the videos below to understand how to draw for 4-Seam, 2-Seam, or 1-Seam orientation fastballs!

4S Fastball

This is traditional Four Seam Fastball Orientation. Align your Seam Stamp across the horseshoe of the ball to draw a straight line. If your hand is slightly on the outside of the ball at release - which is most pitchers - Four Seam Orientation will add Ride and Cut.

2S Fastball

This is traditional Two Seam Fastball Orientation. Align your Seam Stamp between the seams of the ball to draw a straight line. If your hand is slightly on the outside of the ball at release - which is most pitchers - Two Seam Orientation will add Sink and Run.

Two Seam

1S Fastball

This is One Seam Fastball Orientation. Align your Seam Stamp along the one seam. If your hand is slightly on the outside of the ball at release - which is most pitchers - One Seam Orientation will add Sink and Run.

For this orientation, we like the use the circles instead of the straight line. Use your seam stamp to add a circle on each side of the ball for the best visual feedback!
