Offspeed

Watch the videos below to understand how to draw for 4-Seam, 2-Seam, or 1-Seam orientation offspeed pitches!

Offspeed pitches can be a little trickier than most fastballs and most breaking balls.

If you pronate at release (hand inside of the ball), 4 Seam Orientation will add depth and 2/1 Seam Orientation will cause lift.

If you supinate at release (hand outside of the ball), 4 Seam Orientation will cause lift and 2/1 Seam Orientation will add depth.

4S Changeup

This is traditional Fourseam Changeup Orientation. Align your Seam Stamp across the horseshoe of the ball to draw a straight line or circle. If your hand is slightly on the inside of the ball at release Fourseam Orientation will add Depth.

Four Seam

2S Offspeed

This is traditional Two Seam Offspeed Orientation for splitters and changeups. Align your Seam Stamp between the seams of the ball to draw a straight line or circle. If your hand is slightly on the outisde of the ball at release - which is most pitchers - Two Seam Orientation will add Depth.

Two Seam

1S Offspeed

This is traditional One Seam Offspeed Orientation for splitters and changeups. Align your Seam Stamp between the seams of the ball to draw a straight line or circle. If your hand is slightly on the outisde of the ball at release - which is most pitchers - One Seam Orientation will add Depth and Run.
